Oh I HAVE a spey and a switch. When I took lessons, my teacher said, "just practice on the nearest river when you get home". The nearest river is about 6 hours away.

As to two-handed fishing, it's a tool...you TOOL. Rather than HAVE TO look for a gravel bar to fish from, The Keeper wouldn't have to pass up much good water where there's little to no backcasting available.

Then, maybe, The Keeper could recover some of the fishing glory of his youth, instead of the LAME numbers he's gathered in the past 4 or so years. I'll gladly teach you how to successfully fish for steel.
